Version 2.0.2 of Cobalt was released this past week, including a new user manual (found online here) and an updated quick-start guide.

The biggest new feature since version 1 has been the addition of the sketch layer, allowing rough drafts to be sketched out before you start painting. The sketch layer can be toggled on and off with the ‘eye’ button at the bottom left of the canvas screen, and the ‘pencil’ button toggles drawing to the sketch layer instead of the canvas.

Cobalt now also runs on top of Bedrock, allowing it to be quickly ported to other platforms in the future. This means that Cobalt will gain support for each new platform added to Bedrock.
